Who we are
Precision repairs,
since 1996
Durbanville Bodyworks has looked after the panel beating and spray painting needs of Durbanville and the wider Cape Town area for the best part of thirty years. The workshop is now run by Nick and Louise Putter, who took over from the previous owner and kept the same standard that built the name.

Good to know
Questions we
get asked
Do I have to use my insurer's panel beater?
No. The choice of repairer is yours, not your insurer's. You're welcome to bring your car to us, and we'll handle the claim from there.
Are you approved by my insurance company?
We're a Naked Insurance partner, and our repair standards are approved by the CRA, NEASA and Lightstone. For most other insurers we can take on the work and manage the claim for you. Phone us with your insurer's name and we'll confirm.
Will a repair affect my vehicle's warranty?
No. We repair to manufacturer standard, so a proper body repair won't affect your car's factory warranty.
How long will my car take?
It depends on the damage. A small scratch or dent is quick; major structural work takes longer. You'll get a realistic timeframe with your quote, and we keep you updated along the way.
What do I need for an insurance claim?
Your claim number, your ID and the car. We take care of the assessment and the paperwork with your insurer.
What guarantee do I get?
A lifetime guarantee on the paint for as long as you own the car, and three years on our workmanship.
