This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
The short version
This website does not collect anything about you. It has no database, no login, no analytics and no cookies of ours. The pages are plain files.
The forms on this site do not send anything anywhere. When you fill one in and press the button, it opens your own email app with the message already written. Nothing reaches us until you press send in your own email program, and you can change or delete it before you do.
What we get when you contact us
If you email us, phone us, or drive in, we get whatever you choose to tell us. Usually that is your name, a contact number or email address, your vehicle, and what the aircon is doing.
We use it for one thing: to answer you and to do the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept for as long as we need them to stand behind the work and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Enquiries that never turn into a job are not kept indefinitely.
If you want us to delete what we hold on you, email us and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Other companies
None, while you are reading this website. Every file this site loads, including its typefaces and its map, is served from this website's own server. No other company is contacted and no other company is told that you were here.
The map is not an embedded map. The map images are stored here, so neither Google nor OpenStreetMap is told that you looked at it.
Links to Google, Facebook and TikTok take you to those companies. Once you click through and land on their site, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web host does.
Your rights under POPIA
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email us and we will deal with it.
If you think we have handled your information badly and we have not put it right, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top.
