Iceberg was established in 2009, with a combined 30 years of experience in the field. We're aircon specialists with fully trained technicians, on 1 Kouga Street in Stikland.
Most people find us because their aircon has stopped blowing cold in the middle of a Cape Town summer. You don't need an appointment. Drive in, and we'll look at it.
We work on everything: cars and bakkies, trucks and buses, plant machinery, and the vintage and imported cars that need aircon fitted from scratch.

Cold air, without the runaround
Most places make you book, keep the car all day, and just top the gas up without ever finding out why it went flat. We don't work like that.
No booking needed
Drive in. Most workshops make you wait days for a slot. We'll look at it when you arrive.

A regas and service is usually well under an hour, not a day without your car.
A free rescan after 7 days
Come back a week later and we'll check the system again for nothing, to make sure it's holding.

Do I need to book?
No. Drive in during opening hours and we'll look at your aircon. Plenty of our customers thank us for exactly this.
How long does a regas take?
Usually well under an hour. One customer had his serviced and regassed in less than half an hour.
What is the free 7-day rescan?
After we've serviced your system, come back a week later and we'll scan it again at no charge, to make sure there's no slow leak and it's still holding properly. It's an important step and we don't charge for it.
My aircon was regassed somewhere else and it's warm again.
Then it's probably leaking, or the fault was never gas in the first place. Aircon problems are often electrical. We diagnose the whole system rather than just refilling it.
Do you work on trucks and bakkies?
Yes. Cars, bakkies, trucks, buses, plant machinery and mining equipment. We've regassed everything from a Toyota Etios to a Scania R500.
Can you fit aircon to an old car that never had it?
Yes. We retrofit and customise aircon systems into vintage, classic and imported vehicles.

1 Kouga Street, Stikland Industrial. Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, and Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm.
